Lead a Cross-Functional Team to Drive ERP Implementation
As an ERP Business Systems Manager, you will oversee the successful implementation of our new ERP system. You will lead a team of internal Business Process Owners, technical resources, and consultants to ensure that the project is executed efficiently, within budget, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of diverse stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate management, plant leadership, IT, and IFS consultants.
- Process Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure that the ERP solution aligns with organizational needs.
- Resource Management: Manage ERP consultant resources to ensure they have the necessary skills and expertise to effectively implement the ERP system.
- Project Management: Oversee the overall project, ensuring it is properly resourced, within budget, and on schedule.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address project roadblocks proactively, driving the project forward through effective problem-solving and collaboration.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Executive Stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and risks.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with technical leads, developers, and IFS consultants to define and implement functional and technical requirements.
Qualifications:
- ERP Experience: Proven experience with manufacturing ERP systems, preferably IFS or similar systems like Epicor, Infor or lower-level SAP.
- Communication and Collaboration: Highly collaborative and able to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Experience in manufacturing ERP systems, ideally in process manufacturing environments with multiple products and high complexity.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 30% of the time, including travel to Canada.
- Lean Methodology: Experience using lean techniques and tools, such as Value Stream Mapping, to evaluate, redesign, and optimize business processes in a manufacturing setting.
- Data Management: Proficiency in creating, using, and maintaining data in MSSQL or other relational databases.
- Technical Skills: Strong systems development and management skills with hands-on experience implementing mid-market ERP and other business systems.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and effectively within internal business groups.
