Volt is immediately hiring for Electrical Assemblers in Sorrento Valley Ca.
As a Electrical Assemblers you will:
- Executes product setup, programming, calibration, and testing.
- Adheres to test protocols for assembly evaluation during both pre and post-burn-in stages.
- Ensures routine testing is performed to meet quality control standards.
- Performs standardized tests on electronic components and units in a consistent manner.
- Records and maintains test outcome documentation.
- Capable of conducting basic troubleshooting at the assembly level.
- Keeps the workspace and tools neat and compliant with safety norms.
- Proficient in executing basic arithmetic operations and numerical counting.
- Utilizes a digital multi-meter for fundamental measurements.
- Skilled in Thru-Hole soldering techniques.
- Operates with a degree of autonomy, requiring only moderate oversight.
- Proactively detects and reports any discrepancies in product assembly or instructions.
- Exhibits superior proficiency and precision in the assembly process.
- Measures using a digital multi-meter with basic proficiency
This is a full-time Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:
- High school education; at least six months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have current or past IPC-J-Std, Class 3 soldering Certification
- IPC-610 certification a plus
- Experience assembling products in more than one functional area of the PCA production floor
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Typically, physical effort includes frequent lifting or moving of moderately weighted materials
- The use of fine motor skills in the hands to assemble/solder products/components and use hand tools
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday 6am-2:30pm
- Friday 5am-1pm
Pay rate: $20-25 per hour
