The Graveyard Manufacturing Technician will be working on a team assisting with the responsibilities listed below:• Operation, control, and monitoring of heat treating furnaces and related equipment• Prepare customer supplied parts for processing• Follow written procedures on shop orders and/or customer paperwork• Load and unload furnaces, bins, baskets, fixtures, etc.• Mask, paint, and/or sandblast customer-owned machined parts• Bring any irregularities or non-conformances to the attention of supervisor• Clean work areas, machines, and equipment• Promote safety and good housekeepingWe are looking for an individual who is interested in opportunities for growth. We are willing to train you to ultimately become a shift supervisor if you display excellent attendance, performance, and leadership qualities.

Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Hayward, California.
Work Environment• Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.• Regularly exposed to heat, dust, noise, humidity, and fumes.**Candidates on the GRAVE shift are currently working 4/10s and will receive 8hrs regular pay($22) with 2 hrs OT pay($33). They will also get two 30-minute PAID meal breaks.**Graveyard shift is 8pm – 6am, Mon – Thurs, with 2 paid 30-minute lunchbreaks.Must be able to train on days for approximately 6-8 weeks (Day shift is approx. 8am – 4:30 pm Mon – Fri) then transfer to long-term placement on graveyard shift.May need this individual to occasionally cover 2nd shift occasionally.
