Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with an established financial services organization to identify a Distributed Systems Engineer. As the Distributed Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of storage infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Third Level production support for all server environments
• Server Contingency Testing
• Comply with Change Control standards and Security and Risk controls
• Test and automate deployment of upgrades - hardware, O/S, drivers, firmware, patches, etc.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 10 years of experience in a distributed Windows and RHEL Server environment
• Experience with managing and maintaining enterprise-class storage
• Extensive experience with VMWare virtualization technologies
• Experience with Dell backup technologies
• Experience with Managing Windows components (Active Directory, GPO, Microsoft clustering)
• Experience installing, administering, and troubleshooting software and hardware in large, mission-critical, 24x7 production environments
