Hours: Twice a month, approximately 6 hours each visit

Caseload:

• PreK - 12
• Approximately 40 students district-wide
• Servicing all district schools

Special Requirements:

• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Tennessee
• Onsite only

Job Description: We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Smithville, TN for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves providing physical therapy services to students across all district schools, focusing primarily on initial evaluations and re-evaluations with little to no direct therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations of students to determine physical therapy needs
• Develop individualized plans to support student mobility and physical functioning
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate physical therapy goals into the student's overall education plan
• Provide consultation and training to school staff on strategies to support student mobility and physical functioning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and progress
