Math Teacher

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Teach math concepts and skills to students in a clear and engaging manner, using a variety of instructional methods.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement and address any concerns or challenges.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to parents and guardians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid Minnesota teaching license with endorsement in Mathematics.
• Strong understanding of math concepts and instructional strategies for [grade level(s)].
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience teaching math in a K-12 setting is preferred.
• Ability to create and implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
