Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and experience working in school settings. The BCBA will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, providing training and support to school staff, and working collaboratively with parents and other professionals to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
- Implement and monitor ABA interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior changes.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to provide training and support in the implementation of BIPs and other behavior management strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with behavioral needs.
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to school personnel on behavior management and ABA strategies.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of ABA and special education.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience working as a BCBA in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, techniques, and ethical standards.
