Are you an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) looking for a FRESH START? If so, we can help YOU! Cell Staff is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Developmental Disability Facilities across your state to help them find AMAZING Direct Support Professionals. We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!

DSP Details

  • Full Time Schedules

  • Every other weekend is required

  • 8 hour shifts available (2:45p-11:15p)

  • Contract Position

DSP Duties

Personal Care and Assistance:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary.

  • Monitor and support personal hygiene and health needs.

Behavioral Support:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies to address challenging behaviors.

  • Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining coping strategies.

Medical and Health Support:

  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects.

  • Assist with medical appointments and ensure follow-up care.

  • Observe and report changes in health or behavior to healthcare professionals or supervisors.

Skill Development:

  • Support individuals in developing life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.

  • Facilitate participation in educational and vocational training programs.

  • Encourage and assist with goal-setting and achievement.

DSP Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited educational institution

  • Licensed as a CNA/MA by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing

  • 1+ years of relevant Direct Support Professional experience
