Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to define and control production processes, validate design specifications, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials preferred)
5-10 years of experience in Defense and Aerospace manufacturing
Desire to work on shop floor and focus on continuous improvements
Preferred Skills:
Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing processes
Background in engineering drawings (SolidWorks), specifications, and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of AS9100/AS9110, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001
Strong understanding of Lean Principles
Experience with CNC programming and operation
Responsibilities:
Define and control production process including tooling and equipment
Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new products, tools, or equipment
Assist cross-functional teams in resolving manufacturing process problems through root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions
Utilize lean-manufacturing principles to improve process capability, reduce costs, and increase capacity
Pay: 40-54
