We are looking for an ERP (PP/QM) Analyst to become an integral part of our team in Houston, Texas. The chosen candidate will serve as a crucial link between our Business Operations and Information Technology sectors, providing business solutions to meet organizational needs. As an ERP (PP/QM) Analyst, you will be expected to use your expertise in SAP Production Planning and Quality Management to design effective SAP solutions and collaborate with various company levels.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the relationship management between IT and Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other related departments, ensuring business needs and technical changes are prioritized appropriately.
• Implement and provide technical solutions in SAP to support each functional area of Operations.
• Organize planning sessions with Operations business partners to develop and implement process improvements.
• Develop, facilitate, and execute Testing and Integration plans.
• Translate business requirements into software solutions by analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs.
• Recommend solutions or improvements that can be achieved through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology by analyzing business processes.
• Collaborate with Business Managers and internal and external stakeholders to deliver necessary documentation such as use cases, user stories, functional requirements specifications, UI designs, workflows, etc.
• Lead the delivery of technical solutions and process improvements.
• Support development and test teams during testing cycles.
• Train users on newly delivered functionality and provide end user support.
• Create and edit configurations and integrations to support Operations business processes.• Proficiency in SAP PP (Production Planning) is essential
• Must have working knowledge of SAP QM
• Previous experience in an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Analyst role is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required
• Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary
• Must have a deep understanding of business processes and system processes within the specific area of expertise
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Previous experience in project management is advantageous
• Must have a strong understanding of integration points and the order in which these must be executed
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and the ability to execute them effectively
• Must be able to provide support and maintenance of SAP modules and underlying applications, systems, and databases to ensure operational stability and effectiveness.
