Virtual School Psychologist
Location: Arizona (Remote)
Job Type: Part-Time Contract
Pay: $45/Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Assessments: Administer and interpret psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Counseling Services: Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, social skills, and academic performance.
- IEP Development: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Crisis Intervention: Offer crisis intervention services as needed, including risk assessments and developing safety plans.
- Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to provide strategies for addressing students' learning and behavioral challenges.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and document students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure their success.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in school psychology, attending relevant training and workshops.
- Compliance: Ensure all services provided comply with state and federal regulations, including confidentiality and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Certification: Must hold or be eligible for certification as a School Psychologist in Arizona.
- Experience: Prior experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a virtual or hybrid environment.
