Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows too!) seeking a travel assignment in the pacific northwest! Soliant has partnered with a small school district in Rainier, WA, and is seeking a contract SLP for the upcoming school year.
How does one qualify for a travel contract?
- Would you be arranging temporary housing while on assignment?
- Would you be commuting 50+ miles to work?
If so, you qualify for a weekly housing and/or meals and incidentals allowance!
The applicant will be working with preschool to high school students on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing diagnostic or therapeutic measures to identify or treat communication disorders in students
- Defining goals in the areas of speech and language for the purpose of an Individual Education Plan, tailored to a student's current level of curriculum or development goals
- Making recommendations for an appropriate level of therapy interventions
- Presenting evaluation results and therapy recommendations at IEP meetings
- Consulting with other specialists in the Special Education department, teachers, and families, with the goal of achieving education goals as outlined in a student's Individual Education Plan

Requirements:
- Washington SLP license
- Education Staff Associate (ESA) credential, issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction
