We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team in El Segundo, California. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our marketing team, assist with the creation and management of social media content calendars, and handle various marketing materials. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and is well-suited for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen interest in the marketing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including managing expense reports, IT requests, and office supplies.
• Assist in the creation and management of social media content calendars.
• Support customer visits by arranging group meeting locations, meals, entertainment, and marketing materials.
• Assist with the organization and logistics of meetings, events, conventions, and workshops.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting schedules under the guidance of management.
• Manage marketing samples, prototypes, and products.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the department, routing emails, phone calls, and faxes appropriately.
• Participate in maintaining an orderly work environment, including the upkeep of marketing inventory.
• Work with cross-functional team members on team-wide projects.
• Ensure full compliance and legal approvals for all commercial activities.• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing.
• Ability to execute administrative tasks and provide administrative assistance to the C-Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.
• Knowledge and experience in creating and managing social media content.
• Familiarity with office functions, including workstation support, expense reporting, and logistics.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Experience in creating and delivering presentations.
• Understanding of compliance requirements in marketing.
• Experience in creating marketing materials and prototypes.
• Proven ability to work with annual budgets.
• Experience in phone presence and customer service.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites and other related software.
