Title: Staff Mammographer - Mammography Technologist
Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire
Setting: Radiology
Location: Lawrence, KS
Schedule: Full-time day shift, Mon-Thur 8A-4:30P and Fri 7A-3:30P

The responsibility of the Mammography Technologist includes but not limited to:
- Empathetic and instructional approach to patient care, the preparation, operation of imaging, collection data using computers, necessary imaging devices and care of instrumentation, patient physical safety and radiation safety
- Perform a variety of exams at the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology protocols.
- Aid other departments by operating radiology equipment for procedures in other areas of the hospital.
- Adhere to State Licensure scope of practice and medical staff approved protocols.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduated from an accredited Radiology program
- ARRT registered, Mammography registered within 1 year of employment
- 1 year of experience as a Mammo Tech preferred, BLS required
