As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role to assist with managing the day-to-day functions of our accounting department and the organization. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist the Assistant Controller and the Property Accounting Manager
Assist with the property accounting review process.
Assist with managing the organization’s bookkeeping and billing.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Auditing team reports.
Banking
Budget processing.
Coding
Maintaining bank books, deposits, bank reconciliations.
Managing a client portfolio, both cash and accruals.
Month-end closing and reporting.
Processing AP/AR and all postings.
Preparing AP lists and check processing.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Experience with Adobe is preferred.
Experience with Yardi or other real estate management software is a plus
