Patient Support Call Center RepresentativeLHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking Patient Support Call Center Representatives to join our team on behalf of a well-known Medical client located in Melville, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality customer service in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming patient calls and respond to inquiries regarding medical services, appointments, and billing.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and updating patient records.
- Provide accurate information on medical procedures, policies, and physician availability.
- Resolve patient concerns in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality laws (HIPAA).
- Input and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance policies is a plus.
- Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR/EMR) software.
Preferred Skills:
- Empathy and patience in dealing with patients’ concerns and health-related inquiries.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.

Job Type: Fulltime
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20-22/hour
