This position offers flexible scheduling, guaranteed work hours, and potential for overtime. We are hiring for the current semester, the extended summer school session, and the upcoming academic year.
Key Duties:
- Collaborative Work: Partner with a variety of professionals such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, dietitians, and educators.
- Custom Therapy Plans: Design and deliver individualized therapy plans and resources tailored to students with diverse needs.
- Evaluation and Strategy: Perform assessments and contribute to behavior management and crisis intervention planning.
- Caseload Management: Oversee a range of cases from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Full-Time Commitment: Maintain a flexible full-time schedule, typically between 37.5 and 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: Hold CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and ASHA certification.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience working with students is required.
- Licensure: Possess a valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Eligibility: Must meet state licensure criteria.
- Preferred: Bilingual skills are advantageous.
