Virtual School Occupational Therapist

Location: Wisconsin (Remote)
Position Type: Full-time Contract
Pay: $45/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services through teletherapy platforms, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and other areas affecting students' academic performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and home environments.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet individual goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations to support students' educational programs.
• Offer training and resources to educators and parents to support the implementation of therapeutic strategies.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy, especially as they pertain to virtual service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Experience in a school setting preferred, particularly with teletherapy or virtual service delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a virtual environment.
• Passion for supporting students' academic and functional development.
