Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our virtual school team in Maryland. The Virtual School SLP will work remotely, providing comprehensive speech and language services to students enrolled in our virtual education programs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students via virtual platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and communication logs.
- Participate in virtual IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute expertise to the development of students' educational plans.
- Stay informed about best practices, research findings, and regulations related to speech-language pathology and special education.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Maryland.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a virtual or teletherapy setting.
- Proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology to deliver remote services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in education.
