Position: Full-Time Art Teacher
Location: Covington, GA
Contract: Full School Year, Contracted through Soliant Education

Description: Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher for a full-time position in Covington, GA. The ideal candidate will inspire and educate students through creative expression, fostering a love for art and encouraging artistic exploration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging art curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity.
• Teach various art forms and techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and achievement.
• Participate in school-wide events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Art Education or related field (Masters preferred).
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in Art Education.
• Prior experience teaching art at the elementary or secondary level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and contemporary trends.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
