Remote School Psychologist Job Opportunity in Virginia

Overview:
We are looking for dedicated School Psychologists to join VocoVision Teletherapy in Virginia for full-time remote positions. These roles offer 40 hours per week and involve managing a mixed caseload of around 50 students from elementary through high school. As an independent contractor, youll receive weekly payments for your guaranteed hours, with the possibility of additional compensation for extra and indirect work. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference in students lives while benefiting from the flexibility of working from any location nationwide.

School Psychologist Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Counseling and Support: Offer individual and group counseling to address academic, social, and emotional issues, helping students develop coping strategies.
• Consult with Educators and Parents: Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create supportive environments, offering guidance on classroom management and behavioral interventions.
• Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Perform assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs, and develop IEPs with intervention recommendations.
• Develop and Implement Programs: Design programs to promote mental health, prevent bullying, address substance abuse, and conduct workshops for staff, students, and parents.

School Psychologist Job Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Psychology.
• ActiveVirginiaSchool Psychology license.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
• Experience providing virtual therapy services is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A Reliable computer & internet speed (no Chromebooks/tablets permitted)

Interview Process:

• 10 - 15 minute screening call with a VocoVision Recruiter.
• 20 - 30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District.
• Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
