Position Overview: As an Intervention Specialist with VocoVision, you will be responsible for delivering targeted support to students in a fully remote setting. Your caseload will consist of K-8 students, and you will employ a resource model to address their unique educational needs. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction to K-8 students in need of academic intervention.
• Develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure growth.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and intervention outcomes.
• Utilize VocoVision's teletherapy platform to deliver engaging and effective instruction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Intervention Specialist certification in Ohio.
• Proven experience working with K-8 students in an intervention or resource setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with technology and virtual communication tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
