Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity Near Bessemer, MISoliant Health is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district near Bessemer, MI, for the uping school year. This full-time position will provide essential support to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The role is exclusively onsite, ensuring that the selected candidate can offer hands-on, personalized care to the students.
Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, employing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Michigan SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the start date.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
