24-hour OBGYN Coverage Needed in Virginia
Our labor and delivery unit offers a welcoming environment for both mothers and their newborns. With spacious suites for childbirth and recovery, as well as couple care options, we prioritize comfort and bonding. As a member of our OB/GYN team, you'll have direct access to our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at our sister facility, ensuring the highest level of care for both mother and baby.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified
- Active Virginia Medical License
- Active Virginia DEA
Practice Setting:
- 468-bed acute care hospital
- Deliver more than 1,000 babies per year
- LDRPs are offered
Cases and Procedures:
- Laboring patients, Inductions, Triage labor patients, ER consults, Floor consults, Trauma call, emergent procedures (Note: No OB Hospitalist program for backup)
Schedule:
- 8-10 shifts per month
- 24-hour in house call
- 6 am-6 am
