A major non-profit Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and energetic Medical Assistant with experience in both front and back-office duties to join their dedicated team!
Medical Assistant should be a fast learner and comfortable working with unhoused individuals in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. The Medical Assistant role will involve drawing blood from patients with communicable diseases, taking vitals, and assisting with various medical procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a vulnerable population.
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr.
Shift: Monday - Friday / 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Location: Los Angeles, CA (DTLA)

- Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant, with phlebotomy experience. Must be proficient with drawing blood
- Must be comfortable working with the homeless population
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in both front and back-office tasks
- Experience with EMR systems, NextGen is preferred
