E-Learning Instructional Technologist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instructional technologist serves a critical role/guide in the organization leveraging technology to enhance the e-learning/ training experience of our medical staff as well as other business functional teams.
Course Development:
a. Design and develop online courses, modules, and learning materials.
b. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
c. Create interactive and engaging learning experiences using multimedia elements such as videos, animations, quizzes, and simulations.
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
a. Manage and maintain the LMS, ensuring it is up-to-date and functioning properly.
b. Enroll users, track progress, and generate reports on learner performance.
c. Provide technical support to instructors and students using the LMS.
Instructional Design:
a. Apply instructional design principles to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
b. Develop instructional materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia resources.
c. Ensure alignment of learning objectives, activities, and assessments.
Technology Integration:
a. Evaluate and recommend e-learning tools, technologies, and platforms.
b. Integrate new technologies into the learning environment to enhance the learning experience.
c. Provide training and support to faculty and staff on the use of e-learning tools and technologies.
Quality Assurance:
a. Conduct quality assurance reviews of online courses to ensure they meet standards and best practices.
b. Implement and maintain standards for online course development and delivery.
c. Collect and analyze feedback from learners and instructors to improve course quality.
Project Management:
a. Manage e-learning projects from inception to completion, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
b. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, and IT staff.
c. Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Research and Evaluation:
a. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in e-learning and instructional technology.
b. Research the effectiveness of e-learning programs and technologies.
c. Evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance the learning experience and outcomes.
Support and Training:
a. Provide ongoing support to instructors and students in using e-learning tools and technologies.
b. Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops on e-learning best practices and tools.
c. Create user guides, tutorials, and other support materials.
Accessibility and Compliance:
a. Implement best practices for making e-learning content accessible to all learners.
b. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to e-learning.
Content Management:
a. Organize and manage digital content libraries.
b. Ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and easily accessible.
c. Maintain version control and content organization systems.
