Summary: The Global Consumer Products Division Controller will lead the financial reporting process for the Consumer Products Division entities, overseeing a team of financial accounting professionals. This role will coordinate closely with the Culligan Corporate Controller’s group, Channel Presidents, and accounting teams, review financial statements, and perform variance analysis to ensure alignment with business partner needs.
Core role and responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Drive the financial reporting process, including:
- Timely reporting and consolidation of monthly results in accordance with US GAAP (Day 4).
- Ensuring consistent account mapping across business entities.
- Managing supplemental reporting requirements for the Corporate Controller’s group.
- Overseeing month-end account reconciliations and certifications for the Consumer Products Division.
- Confirming timely reconciliation of intercompany balances.
- Preparing and distributing monthly management reports and financial statements.
- Ensuring all necessary accruals are made in line with company policy.
Policy Development:
- Develop and implement uniform accounting policies and procedures across Consumer Products Division entities in accordance with Culligan’s Global accounting policies.
Audit & Compliance:
- Provide supporting data for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Address and remediate any audit observations, as needed.
Collaboration & Development:
- Work closely with Channel Presidents and accounting teams to align financial strategies and ensure smooth operations.
- Partner with the CFO to enhance the finance organization and talent development within the Consumer Products Division.
- Collaborate with the CFO to implement system solutions for Consumer Products Division entities.
Special Projects:
- Lead and contribute to special projects as required.

- Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the accounting team.
- Build and develop a high-performing accounting team through mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure effective communication of financial information and strategies across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a consumer products or manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills in a results-oriented culture.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with cost center managers.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments.
- ERP integration experience is a plus.
