Job Description
New opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join the team of a leading area manufacturer in the Bluffton, Ohio area!

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring products produced meet customer quality standards.
  • Identify root cause and implement permanent corrective actions for product quality issues.
  • Lead, Develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention in a team environment.
  • Train and support groups of shop floor associates with quality assurance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Senior level QE, preferably in a metal’s environment or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • IATF Audit experience preferred.
  • Insourcing new parts experience a plus
