Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Kansas City, MO. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

·         Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.

·         Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

·         Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.

·         Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

·         Committed to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.

·         Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.

·         Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

·         Travel and flexible hours required working multiple locations and required covering Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.

Required Education:

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

·         Phlebotomy certification preferred.

·         Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

·         Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

·         Location:  North Kansas City, MO

·         Job Type: 3-month contract

·         Schedule: 1st shift. 07:30 – 4:30, Mon-Fri

·         Pay Range: $20 - $22/hr
