Job Description
Lead design, integration and test activities for military and commercial SATCOM efforts on Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV).
Responsibilities:
- Lead design of tactical communication efforts to include requirements generation, requirements allocation and detailed design on Unmanned Surface Vessels
- Lead integration activities to include subsystem testing and system characterization
- Lead test activities to include test plan generation, test procedure generation, developing automated testing and running test procedures
- Lead fielding and operational test activities CONUS and OCONUS
- Lead support activities to include Tier 1 through Tier 3 support
Desired Skills:
- Experience with military and commercial SATCOM systems
- Experience with MEO and LEO SATCOM systems to include Starlink/Starshield, OneWeb, Iridium and mPower
- Experience with phased array antennas
- Experience working on DoD programs
- Experience with SDWAN and networking solutions for bonding of multiple communications paths, load balancing and QoS
- Experience with security elements to include TRANSEC and COMSEC
- Experience running link budgets
- Ability to work independently or lead a team of 2-5 engineers and technicians
- Ability to work with other partner companies on development efforts

- Bachelor’s Electrical Engineering or 10 Years of Relevant Experience
