JOB SUMMARY:
Will primarily manage duties assigned by the Director of Operations for Special Projects and the VP of Business Development. The primary duties are as follows:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Works with Director of Operations and VP of Business Development on the following:
o Profitability & Forecasting – What margins do we need to hit for any given project?
o Goal achievement – Establishing and mapping out goals to achievement.
· Works with Director of Operations and VP of Business Development on the following:
o Managing costs includes balancing that constraint with the other two. You must stay within budget while keeping the timeline on track and fulfilling but not exceeding the scope.
· Works with Director of Operations to establish the following:
o Establishing roles & responsibilities.
o Analyzing and working to establish team milestones, processes, and procedures.
· Works with Director of Operations on the following:
o Guiding team to goal achievement.
o Facilitating team meetings.
o Motivation – Keeping the team motivated towards success.
· Communication (Competency & Skill)
o Hand in hand with leadership is strong communication. You’re the point of contact for the entire team, so you must facilitate cohesive teamwork.
o You should feel confident interpreting the needs of one group or department and explaining them to another.
o You’ll likely also mediate conflicts among stakeholders and handle negotiations about time, roles & responsibilities, and processes. You must be able to understand everyone’s role and perspective while diplomatically communicating them across the team.

o Calmly and consistently manage complex timelines.

o Foresee complications that could derail your timeline and suggest solutions to stay on track.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· 10 years of experience in event production and vendor management.
· Experience with event/project management tools.
· Knowledge in trade show, exhibit planning, and budget management.
· Proficient with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and drafting programs (AutoCAD, Sketchup, etc.).
· Must be able to travel up to 35% of the time.
· The position requires good, basic, clerical and administrative skills with emphasis on verbal and written communication skills (in English), good common sense; positive attitude; willingness to take initiative; and ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines.
