Description: Opportunity to work with a leading wireless centric network integration firm. The Network Technician will work with a team to deploy IP based wireless networks, to include switches, access points, security camaras and terminate cable. Customers include Municipal Governments, Education and Healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Cat5e/6 installation, termination and testing

• Installation of Network Hardware (requires working on ladders, lifts and bucket trucks)

• Configuration of Network Hardware

• Understanding of Network Basics to include TCP/IP and VLANs

• Perform Wireless LAN Site Surveys

• Installation, grounding and weatherproofing of outdoor wireless equipment

• Installation of indoor/outdoor WiFi equipment

• Working on Ladders using Lifts and working at heights. Requires tower work.

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of deployed solutions

• Occasional on-call duty, nights and weekend work

• Occasional Travel

• Other duties as required to work in a strong team environment

• Excellent communication skills are a must

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years Experience low voltage

• 25 and Older with Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record

• Excellent client service and communication skills.

• Experience with the following hardware and software:

◦ Network Switches

◦ Wireless networks and WANs/LANs

• Ability to understand and troubleshoot various hardware and software.

• Ability to read and understand manufacturer documentation.

• Ability to work in a team, take direction and complete documentation

• Project Management Experience a plus

• Tower Climbing Experience a plus
