Sharetec is seeking a dynamic, results-driven individual with a strong background across various infrastructure domains. As an Infrastructure Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our physical and cloud-based environments. This role requires a broad range of skills and expertise across multiple infrastructure domains including servers, firewalls, switches, storage, and backups.

This position is a full-time exempt role with an annual starting salary range of $110,000 - $130,000. The work arrangement is remote, and we are specifically seeking candidates who reside in one of the states listed below.

Responsibilities:

• Manage hybrid environment datacenter and Azure cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and support network and systems solutions and improve the efficiency of existing networks and systems.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot services to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard the cloud environment and data.
• Build and maintain Linux and Windows servers in multiple environments.
• Directly collaborate with other infrastructure engineers, DevOps, and security engineers
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents and alerts in coordination with Level 1 and 2 operations teams as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years direct experience with Windows, Linux, and VMware infrastructure
• 3+ years direct experience with M365 and Azure
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, DFS, FTP, SFT, MFA, VPN, password management, and SSO.
• Strong working knowledge of network and firewall technologies (Cisco and Fortigate preferred).
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam preferred).
• Experience with storage technologies (EMC preferred).
• Proven ability to investigate complex issues spanning multiple technologies and drive to resolution.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in diagnosing complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in a medium to large scale enterprise environment architecting, engineering, and troubleshooting the different infrastructure technologies.
• Preferred experience in the financial industry.
• Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations, including management.
• Experience with OpenEdge Progress databases is a plus.
• Experience with risk management in critical environments.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 compliance and standards.
