Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with production equipment and machinery and implement timely and effective solutions.
3. Repairs: Conduct repairs and replacements of defective parts, components, or systems to restore equipment functionality and safety.
4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory of spare parts.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance through modifications, upgrades, or process enhancements.
7. Collaboration: Coordinate with production personnel and other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
8. Training: Stay current with technological advancements and best practices in industrial maintenance, and participate in training programs as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automated control systems preferred.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, precision measurement instruments, and maintenance software.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
