The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating CAD drawings for our clients in the design process from concept to completion. Requires extensive history of residential (single and multifamily) and commercial building design/drafting. Strong knowledge of building codes, fire codes, accessibility codes, building occupancy densities and their effect on building design. Strong history/experience using AutoCAD Architecture and Revit. This includes preparing 3D models, sketching, drawing specifications, and creating detailed technical drawings. The CAD Designer will work closely with the Project Manager and Project Manager’s team to ensure that the project is on track and meets all deadlines.

This is a full time in-office position.

Responsibilities:

• Use software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for residential and commercial projects.
• Collaborate with others on projects
• Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions.
• Keep up to date on building code and design standards.

CAD Designer Requirements:

• Knowledge of building design and all relevant phases of design
• AutoCAD or Revit experience
• Ability to read & interpret construction plans and specs.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills..
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems.
