Security Architect
We're expanding and seeking a skilled Security Architect; you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap
between technical expertise and business acumen. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate
with sales teams, customers, and technical stakeholders to understand their needs, propose solutions,
and demonstrate the value of our IT products and services. You’ll be the technical expert who ensures
that our offerings align with customer requirements and expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Technical Consultation:
o Work closely with sales teams to understand prospective client infrastructure,
challenges, requirements, and goals and provide technical guidance on security
solutions.
o Engage with prospective clients to understand their IT.
o Provide expert advice on product features, capabilities, and implementation strategies.
o Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to showcase our
solutions.
• Solution Design:
o Develop and present customized security architectures and solutions that align with
client needs and industry best practices.
o Create detailed technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, deployment plans,
and pricing estimates.
o Evaluate feasibility, scalability, and compatibility of proposed solutions.
• Product Evangelism:
o Act as a product evangelist, promoting IT solutions to potential clients.
o Highlight key differentiators, competitive advantages, and ROI.
o Participate in industry events, webinars, and conferences.
• Proof of Concept (PoC) Development:
o Develop PoCs to validate the effectiveness of proposed solutions.
o Work closely with clients during PoC execution.
o Gather feedback and iterate on PoC designs.
• Collaboration:
o Liaise with internal teams (support staff, engineering, sales, and management) to
address technical queries and resolve issues.
o Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their pain points and tailoring
solutions accordingly.
• Market Insights:
o Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive
landscape.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, or solution architecture.
• Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems,
encryption, and network security.
• Strong understanding of security, datacenter, networking, cloud computing, disaster recovery
and business continuity, and enterprise software.
• Excellent communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business benefits.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
