Job Description:
Pay Range: $79.13hr - $84.13hr
Responsibilities:
Project Financial Oversight and Reporting (60%):
- Establishes and manages project control frameworks, ensuring cost and schedule objectives are met.
- Manages project financials, including cost reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Oversees scheduling activities and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
Business and Financial Analysis (20%):
- Produces project/program control reports and analyzes project spending.
- Develops analytics for vendor performance, change orders, and project overruns.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills (10%):
- Maintains effective relationships with various stakeholders, including construction managers and university partners.
- Communicates critical updates and ensures coordination with the Design & Construction team.
Implementation and Training (5%):
- Trains and mentors staff on project controls, and implements project management systems and tools.
- Additional duties as assigned, including emergency response and mandated reporting responsibilities.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) is required within 30 days of hire if not already obtained.
- Professional certifications relevant to cost management, schedule management, and project management are preferred.
Must Have:
- Experience with large-scale HCAi construction projects and proven competency in managing complex project controls.
- 8+ years of experience in construction management or financial administration, with increasing leadership/management responsibility.
- Proficiency in project management software like Procore, Honest Building, or eBuilder.
- Bachelor’s degree in financial/business administration, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a record of driving results and implementing organizational improvements in a healthcare environment.
Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree in financial/business administration, construction management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications relevant to cost management, schedule management, and project management (e.g., CPD, PgMP, PfMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience with Bluebeam or similar tools.
- Experience with vendor management and developing performance metrics.
- Change leadership and innovation capabilities that align with healthcare organizational goals.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in financial or business administration, construction management, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred, with 4 years of management/director-level experience substituting for the Master's degree.
- 8 years of experience in construction management or financial administration with increasing leadership responsibility.
