Responsibilities:
The ITIL Foundation Trainer and Advisor will:
- Deliver the training to prepare 60 candidates for The ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, following the officially designated ITIL curriculum;
- Develop a plan to train local trainers to conduct ongoing training for the Foundation Certificate;
- Develop a top-level plan to guide the comprehensive induction of ITIL
In the initial stage, IT staff will be exposed to knowledge of the ITIL terminology, structure and basic concepts, ensuring that they comprehend the core principles of ITIL practices for service management and understand its benefits.
Qualifications
- ITIL certification to deliver training and advise on deployment of ITIL
- At least 10 years’ experience in a senior capacity of managing or developing IT support services
- At least 5 years’ exposure to ITIL practices as a trainer and consultant
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience
- Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to identify areas of IT performance improvement, and to design, motivate and implement those changes
- Ability to develop professional reports and recommendations
- Ability to work productively in highly collaborative settings while also able to function independently
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with and mentor culturally diverse staff & clients at all levels of seniority
- Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills
