Electrical Engineer
Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311
Wage: $30+ per hour (DOE)
Shift: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday (1-hour lunch)
Job Summary:
Design industrial control panels, wiring plans, and ladder logic schematics.
Set up and program PLCs.
Ensure product safety and compliance with electrical/UL codes.
Responsibilities:
Design electrical control panels and systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
Install and update electrical systems.
Write user instructions and specify materials.
Use 2D CAD for designs.
Write PLC programs.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate Degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred).
Experience: 2-3 years in electrical fields (5 years preferred).
Skills:
Electrical systems and engineering knowledge.
Familiarity with PLCs and ladder logic.
Proficiency in 2D CAD.
Understanding of UL508A, NFPA70, and IEC standards.
