Role - Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

Salary - $120,000 - $180,000 (dependent on experience)

Type - Permanent

Location - Rochester, MI

My client works within design and NPI and they are looking to take on an Electrical Design Engineer in the Rochester, MI area.

Strong experience in development of smart connected products is desired.

Those with experience in the full lifecycle design and validation for consumer products or household appliances will be a good fit.

The client are particularly interested in hiring individuals with a passion for innovating and constantly driving improvement within complex product ranges.

The Senior Electrical Systems Engineer will have the following attributes:

· BS (or similar) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

· 5+ years’ experience of Electronic Hardware / PCB Design experience.

· Proficiency in design of Schematics using Altium.

· BLE / Bluetooth network experience.

· IoT connectivity knowledge.

· Knowledge of circuit modelling using LTSpice or PSpice

· Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written.

The Senior Electrical Systems Engineer’s role will involve:

· Working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team alongside other Electrical, Mechanical & Electronics Engineers.

· Leading design & project delivery for all aspects of Systems Engineering.

· Customer requirements management

· Standards analyses for systems safety and reliability

· Produce technical design specifications

· Create verification test plans

· Oversee verification & validation testing

· Supporting testing and certification of designs to relevant safety standards.

· Participating in full lifecycle Design and Project work – working closely with customers and other teams.

· Preparing and delivering technical reports.
