Clinical Director- Addiction Recovery

Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical services to residents and their families who require behavioral health and wellness services

· Oversees all aspects of clinical services and operations.

· Provides leadership in the development and evaluation of all aspects of clinical program operations.

· Creates and delivers professional development to clinical and non-clinical staff.

· Supervises and directs the clinical program and operations to both clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure resident outcomes are achieved and standards are met.

· The Clinical Director may be required to facilitate individual, group or family counseling sessions and complete timely and accurate documentation.

· Writes and reviews policies and procedures.

· Monitors staff compliance with policies and procedures.

· Prepares for and responds to Accreditation Surveys and The Texas Board of Health.

· Recommends budget for clinical staff development and staff resources to ensure adequate funding for delivery of quality services.

· Oversees and authorizes clinical services expenditures.

· Monitors expense budget reports and recommends adjustments as necessary.

Collaborates with leadership to receive input and communicate information relevant to the clinical program

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Master’s Degree in behavioral health related field.

· License in a behavioral health field such as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A.

· EMDR certification a plus

· A minimum of 5-years’ experience in Behavioral Health or Behavioral Health Related Field (includes psychology, sociology/social work, counseling (including chemical dependency), nursing, patient care, and social/human services-related fields with focus on behavioral health.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:

· Current license to practice in TX (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A, LCDC or Masters level equivalent)

· Current CPR/First Aid certification

· Clear TB screening
