General Position Summary:
The Sr. Business Development Manager is responsible for generating revenue for all lines of business. The Sr. Business Development Manager is responsible for building new accounts and relationships and provides feedback and input to BPA Health leadership in developing new lines of business and improving existing lines of business. This position ensures that BPA Health’s private and public sector customers are well served in accordance with our deep commitment to fostering mutually beneficial relationships and community wellness.

Essential Functions:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients and generate leads through various channels, including broker relations, networking, cold calling, email marketing, and online research in the healthcare industry.
Sales Presentations: Conduct product or service presentations to potential clients highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions.
Discovery Meetings: Schedule and conduct one-on-one or group meetings with potential clients to understand their specific needs in the context of BPA Health's behavioral healthcare solutions.
Sales Quotas: Achieve sales targets and quotas in line with BPA Health's business development goals, driving revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients in the healthcare sector to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
Sales Documentation: Prepare and submit sales contracts, proposals, and agreements to clients for review and approval, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Market Research: Evaluate and stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor products and services in the behavioral health sector to adapt sales strategies and recommend improvements to BPA Health's offerings.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to BPA Health's management on sales activities, performance, and forecasts within the behavioral health domain.
Product Knowledge: Stay well-informed about BPA Health's behavioral healthcare solutions to effectively communicate benefits and impact on clients' healthcare practices.
Qualifications:
Sales Experience: A strong background in sales and business development, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the healthcare industry.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills are essential for effectively engaging with all stakeholders, including brokers, healthcare clients and internal team members.
Goal-Oriented: A results-driven approach, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets to support BPA Health's growth strategy.
Product Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of BPA Health's behavioral healthcare solutions and an understanding of their impact on client organizations.
Customer-Centric: A deep commitment to addressing the specific needs and challenges of healthcare clients within the behavioral health industry.

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or other related fields or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience supporting sales, marketing, healthcare, behavioral health, and/or government affairs preferred.
