Job DescriptionCompany Description
Reporting to the Nurse Medical Coordinator, the Assistant Medical Coordinator will work collaboratively with leadership and staff to maintain the health of the individuals who we support. The Assistant Medical Coordinator will ensure that individuals receive appropriate medical care through scheduling and coordinating care. The Lead Nurse Case Manager will explore strategies and identify any system barriers to ensure individuals are living the healthiest lifestyle possible.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Schedule routine medical appointments
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in human services or healthcare related field
- Previous office experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
