About the Role
At MDFirst Research, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and overseeing neurological clinical trials. This in-person position is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our trials, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to rigorous protocols. Your expertise will be key in documenting findings, managing data, and contributing to our mission of advancing neurological research.
Key Duties
- Protocol Management: Understand and manage assigned protocols, patient visit schedules, test procedures, and drug accountability.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all study documentation forms, including case report forms and study-specific documents.
- Patient Care: Coordinate and conduct patient care visits, ensuring compliance with study protocols.
- Preparation: Monitor and prepare lab supplies, study kits, and patient documents for visits.
- Communication: Work closely with the Principal Investigator for medical evaluations and to report serious adverse events.
- Sponsor Interaction: Facilitate communication with the sponsor's Clinical Research Associate for monitoring and database maintenance.
- Recruitment: Conduct calls to potential subjects, prescreen for eligibility, and manage data entry.
- Confidentiality: Uphold confidentiality regarding PHI and sensitive sponsor information.
- Professionalism: Greet and assist visitors, patients, and employees with courtesy and professionalism.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Licensure: RN or LPN license, or Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web applications, laboratory processing, phlebotomy, and psychometric/cognitive assessment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Integrity: High degree of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
