AMS Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated nurses RNs to care for adults in behavioral healthcare facility in Louisville, KY

Full time and prn nights available 12-hour shifts 7p-7a and

Job Description

• Provide care for patients with mental and behavioral health issues.
• Assess patient behavior and physical health information and deliver nursing care as directed.
• Administer prescribed medication and monitor patient’s responses/side effects.
• Document and report changes in patient’s behavior and health
• Review patients’ charts
• Transcribe orders from MD.
• Work with members of the interdisciplinary health care team
• Educate patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to set boundaries.
• Hold an unencumbered nursing license.
• Nursing license from an accredited Nursing school

Pay starts at $44hr based on expierience
