We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at our outpatient Interventional Radiology Center in Scottsdale. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during Interventional Radiology procedures, under the supervision of the Interventional Radiologist.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care.
• Prepares patients for procedures: Includes checking and verifying vital signs, charting meds, NPO status, lab results and medical history.
• Inserting and removing intravenous lines.
• Administering conscious sedation drugs and other drugs.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of medications as prescribed by the Interventional Radiologist.

• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and monitor patients' vital signs.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with the Interventional Radiologist and other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities to maintain knowledge and skills in the field of Interventional Radiology

Requirements:

• Active Arizona RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outpatient setting.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
