BBETR LLC is a psychological assessment practice looking for a qualified partner to launch a psychological assessment center(s). Founded by a former management consultant and industry executive with experience managing, running, and growing service-based businesses.

JOB DESCRIPTION

For Massachusetts licensed psychologists with experience and interest in providing assessment services, and aspiration to start and grow your own practice.

At BBETR the right candidate will have the opportunity to launch a new assessment practice—from selection of specific tests offered, to patient service model, and practice design—with no upfront out of pocket startup costs required (all business expenses, including purchase of testing measures are funded). BBETR will finance all required practice costs while paying a competitive monthly salary. Following achievement of key milestones, e.g., official practice launch, client attraction, and administration of client tests, there is an opportunity to grow monthly salary well above industry average compensation through equity ownership in the practice, and increased role and responsibility as the practice grows, e.g., Chief Medical Officer across multiple locations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with an experienced business / strategy executive to develop a psychological testing and wellness support offering
• Administer psychological assessments and produce patient reports including any clear diagnoses, treatment suggestions, and/or referral strategy
• Lead design of patient support model, including but not limited to designing the staffing model and recruiting additional qualified practitioners to the practice
• Help design proprietary tools for testing administration and reporting
• Perfect for an entrepreneurial minded individual who wants have a positive impact on the psych assessment industry, and shape a practice with the aspiration to grow in the near-term

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Clear and active Ph.D. or PsyD license in Massachusetts
• Qualifications to provide psychological testing services to children, adolescents, and young adults
• Knowledge and familiarity with various psychological assessment batteries
• Comfortable working in a dynamic new practice environment
• Interest in owning your own practice
• Ability to commute to the location and work in-person ~3-4 days a week

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience and comfort in providing neuropsychological, and psychological diagnostic assessments, and general psychiatric testing
• Comfortable using computers - Excel, Outlook, Therapy Notes, other Enterprise Management Systems
• Great top-down communication skills, in both patient and business setting
• Able to quickly build rapport with clients and partners
• Proven to be self-motivated with an aspiration to improve the behavioral health industry
• Ability to form top notch provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with internal and external providers
