Job Summary
Karing Hearts Home Health Services is a home health company located across Southern California. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide clinical services in the home health setting. Run by nurses, we seek to provide individualized, compassionate, and quality care to our patients. Some of the skills needed include: central line care, blood draws and delivery to the lab, infusion therapy (antibiotics, IVIG, etc.), wound care, OASIS documentation, PIV starts.
Pay: Competitive, Bi-Weekly.
Hours: Flexible, Weekend and Evening opportunities available.

Job Qualifications
Required:
Current unrestricted RN license.
Education: Associate's degree in nursing
Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Reliable transportation/car/auto insurance.
Nursing Liability Insurance
Clean background and criminal check
Preferred:
Excellent peripheral IV starts/maintenance, IV infusion therapy injection, phlebotomy skills for both adults and pediatric patients, CVAD experience and knowledge.
Ability to lift 35 pounds.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel to patients homes.

Responsibilities
Perform care as is defined by the patient's Plan of Care, and within the scope of California's Nurse Practice Act.
Provides services that require specialized nursing skills.
Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records, and maintains clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
Administers medications to patients and monitors patients for reactions or side effects.
Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients' conditions to the Director of Patient Care Services, Karing Hearts, and the Physician.
Modifies patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
Monitors all aspects of patient care.
Prepares patients for and provides treatments.
Educates the patient and their families in meeting nursing and any related needs.
