Job Summary:

A Homely Care is currently seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis in Rhode Island. The RN will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional and personalized care to our clients while adhering to Rhode Island state regulations. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is detail-oriented and capable of working independently, and available to work in the mornings. Please note that the RN will specifically be assigned to non-skilled tasks, ensuring the provision of quality care in various non-clinical aspects of our clients' well-being.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough patient assessments and create individualized care plans.

2. Administer medications and treatments following physician prescriptions.

3. Monitor patient vital signs and reactions to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.

4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

5. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

7. Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing nursing care.

8. Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Rhode Island RN license.

2. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.

3. BLS certification.

4. Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

7. Knowledge of current healthcare practices and regulations.

8. Flexibility to work per diem hours based on organizational needs.

9. Language Proficiency: While not a strict requirement, multilingual capabilities, such as proficiency in Spanish and English, are valued.

10. Must possess previous experience working for a home care agency that provides Personal Care Aide services.

*Compensation will be processed upon the submission and completion of clients' documentation.

Note: The initial in-home assessment must be conducted within forty-eight (48) hours. Subsequent assessments and direct supervision of the Nursing Assistant (at least one supervisory session) must be conducted no less than every three (3) months thereafter or more frequently as the condition of the patient/client may require.
