We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, offering expert care to adult patients. This role requires a compassionate professional with strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Neurological Examinations: Conduct detailed neurological assessments to diagnose and treat conditions such as migraines, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and current best practices.
- Procedural Expertise: Perform specialized procedures, including administering neurotoxin injections, as part of treatment regimens.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and management strategies, providing ongoing support and resources.
- Record Keeping: Efficiently use electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications
- Certification: Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a focus or experience in Neurology.
- Clinical Experience: Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant medical software.
